Outside of the daily use of Managebac, Moodle, and Teams, I have also been working alongside department colleagues to to use Exam.net, Canva, and see if Magic School can be of use in assisting with the quantity of ever-changing content.
2.2.a Advance a Shared Vision - Working together with department members, to find the best Moodle options for our department needs.
2.2.b Advocate for Equitable Access - Providing as many opportunities for students to both learn and also present their understanding in more than one format. Initially by changing URLs to verbal, video or written, but also by ensuring multiple versions of texts are available.
2.2.c Model Digital Tool Use - Sharing my (in particular, Moodle) knowledge, to allow for easier sharing of tasks within the department, but also ensuring students are maximising the shortcut options within MS 365.
2.1.a Create a Positive Experience - Through my CAS responsibilities, I regularly encourage students to bring an understanding of how their actions impact others.
2.1.b Evaluate Resources for Credibility - All source work in ELL needs to be cited and considered for bias. Students are being asked to consider Author's Intent and Audience Expectation, for everything.
2.1.c Model Safe, Legal, Ethical Practices - I only use original sources for all movies etc I use. I discuss the importance of creative ownership with students, and explain my reasons for my own decision above.
2.1.d Manage, Protect Data - Student work that is to be publicly published, will not have identifying details. In-house products, like the Literary Magazine, have a restricted audience by design, but any online details only have student first names and an initial.
